Today, the dating game is fast-paced, energetic, and popular. It's easier to find a hot date these days than ever before, thanks to online dating apps and websites. But there are tons of awkward dates because people don't know the unspoken rules. Although dating is a rough world to navigate, everyone should follow the three unspoken rules of dating: lowering your expectations, wearing proper attire, and being punctual.

Please Lower Your Expectations

It is not uncommon that people expect to meet their Mr. Rights or Miss. Rights on a single date. However, the reality never fails to disappoint them. There is no such thing that your soulmate is there waiting for you and no effort and time are required. As a result, you should not expect the person you are going to meet is perfect. Besides, as a saying goes, time trials all. It takes time to know a person so don’t let your high expectation get in your way to find the right person for you.

Our Dating Journey

Dress Properly

When you go on a date, make sure you dress appropriately. This is a matter of first impression. To impress a potential partner, wearing proper attire will help you a lot. Even if it doesn't guarantee you a successful date, it should help you avoid leaving a bad impression at the first sight. Of course, if you want to look good, make it a habit instead of something you do only on special occasions.

Please Be Punctual

Being on time for appointments is basic etiquette. If we value the date, then we certainly can't keep him or her waiting too long. Will people still want to be with you when you're always late? Make sure you arrive five minutes early. But it’s not recommended to be too early, as this may put pressure on your date. If you are late by accident, please send an apology message to your date in advance. Being late to a date leaves a bad impression and makes the other person feel uncomfortable.
